Teacher Education/Professional Program Information

Research Interests:

I have a number of different projects for students to work on including:
  • Ab-Initio and Semi-Empirical investigations of unstable molecules; suitable for junior or senior chemistry and physics majors.
  • Gas Chromatography/Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy of Gasoline; suitable for junior or senior chemistry or environmental science majors.
  • Browser independent Java animation of Protein Database molecular structures; suitable for any level student with an interest in learning web based display and animation techniques.**
  • Development of calculator based laboratory experiments for general and introductory chemistry; suitable for any student with a general chemistry background.**

** Starred items are especially good for students interested in science education.  You can work on any of these projects for 1 to 3 credits. See me or email me for details.
